GCSE and IGCSE (International GCSE) are the foundation courses of A levels. They cover almost the same topics as A levels but at a more fundamental level, to enable the student to cover them in depth in the A level course. The importance of these courses lies not only in making the student aware of the basic principles of the subject, but also in familiarising him with attending a course and taking exams with English being used as the language of communication.
